Story Of the movie :
From the name of the movie, one may easily guess the name of the movie. It is a science friction money about a clock that have some unique features. If you like science friction movie, than you may like this. As you the the trailer and movie details are not release, so the story may not exactly same as we describes.
The movie govinda naam mera is a comedy film. Mr. Vicky Koushal as Govinda Waghmare plays the role of a husband who has a wife and a girlfriend. Bhumi Pednekar is his wife and Kiara advani as his girlfriend. Then the story begins with the difficulties of Mr. Waghmare to handle both togather.
Actually many movies are already made on the same topic. Recently released movie Pati, patni aur boh was based on this idea. Kartik Arian was the hero of that movie and same bhumi was in his wife’s role. Ananya Panday acted as his girlfriend. Then he struggled to manage them and tried to live a normal life.
But the end of the day, Bhumi came to know about his girlfriend and everything gone wrong. There are more examples of movies with the same idea, so the movie has not a unique topic to show. The movie is produced by Karan Johar in Dharma productions. Shashank Khaitan is the director cum writer of this movie. Initially it’s planned for theatre release but now it’s confirmed that the movie is under Disney and will release in OTT mode. The shooting of the movie govinda naam mera stared from 2021 and decided to release on June 2022. But there is big Problem for Dharma productions. As we know, there is a huge increase in OTT subscribers and people like to see films and webseries on phone.
So they dropped the plan of releasing the movie on theatre but release in OTT platform. Then they rescheduled their release date and meet with several OTTs. Finally they contract with the Disney plus hot Star and sold the media rights. The cost of the movie is 62 crores (approximately) and sold media rights for 42 crores and satellite rights for 20 crores. That is no profit no loss.
Budget :
Although the movie produced by Dharma productions ( Karan Johar), the movie is not a very budget film. Total budget for this movie assigned about 62 crores. But for some reasons, the movie delayed to release and now it’s sold out to Disney plus hot Star for 42 crores and satellite rights for 20 crores. So the movie will release on Disney OTT platform in the end of the year 2022.
